Some Mercury retrogrades are about missed calls and a printer that picks the worst possible day to die. This isn’t one of those.

Why does Mercury retrograde in Scorpio get so personal?
Mercury retrograde in Scorpio tends to review what’s underneath the surface: trust, money, control and old fears. Every Mercury retrograde reviews something different depending on the sign it’s travelling through, and Scorpio doesn’t do surface level.
So instead of (or as well as) the usual tech hiccups, this one tends to stir up:
- Trust, and who you’ve been giving it to
- Money, especially shared money, debts, and what you’re owed

- Look back at the first shadow. What kept coming up between October 4 and 23? That’s your preview of what this retrograde wants you to review.
- Read contracts twice. Scorpio rewards the fine print.
- Use the 24-hour rule. Anything written in a hot moment, whether an email, a text, or a voice note, sits for a day before it goes anywhere.
- Ask the better question. When something resurfaces, skip “why is this happening again?” and try “what is this showing me now that I couldn’t see before?”
