What’s Lurking Under the Surface
We’ve just entered Scorpio season, and if it feels like secrets are bubbling up, you’re not wrong.
When the Sun moves from one sign to the next, the shift can feel dramatic — especially because signs that sit side by side share nothing in common. The change is always noticeable: the tone, the mood, even how we react to life.
Sometimes the transition passes quietly.
Other times — like this one — it’s unmistakable.
From Libra’s Buzz to Scorpio’s Depth
Libra season is generally busy, social, and all about playing nicely with others.
As a cardinal air sign, Libra pushes us to stay in our heads — talk things through, cooperate, smooth edges, and get things done.
Then the Sun moves into Scorpio, a fixed water sign, and everything changes.
We dive beneath the surface.
The pace slows.
The emotional depth increases.
Scorpio is drawn to secrets — both the ones we keep and the ones we uncover.
Why This Transition Feels So Intense
The way we experience any sign change depends on what the other planets are doing.
Are there planets still in Libra, amplifying that energy?
Are the outer planets stirring things up elsewhere?
And since Venus rules Libra, its position adds even more flavor to how the shift plays out for each of us.
This time, the shift feels extra potent because of what’s happening across the sky.
During Libra season, we were surrounded by air and fire — busy, mentally charged, outward-focused energy. Those elements feed off each other, creating movement, momentum, and sometimes overwhelm.
Then suddenly… everything changed.
Welcome to the Deep End
As the Sun slipped into Scorpio, it joined Mars (Scorpio’s traditional ruler), along with Mercury and the Moon.
Overnight, we went from:
A New Moon in Libra — with the Sun, Moon, and Venus all in Libra, plus Uranus and Pluto in air — lots of “in your head” energy, great for conversation, tricky for sensitivity… to Water World — Neptune back in Pisces, Saturn also in water, Jupiter in Cancer, and the Sun, Moon, Mars, and Mercury now all in Scorpio.
In the blink of an eye, we were plunged into the deep end of a wave pool we can’t climb out of.
The Themes of This Season
This is a truth-telling season.
It’s time to be honest — with yourself first, and then with everyone else.
But honesty doesn’t mean oversharing.
Scorpio understands boundaries and discretion.
Some stories aren’t yours to tell.
Between now and late November, the emotional waters run high.
Here’s how to keep your head above it:
- Lack of Earth: Get grounded. Walk barefoot, cook, clean, garden, eat root veggies — connect with the physical world.
- Lack of Fire: Create your own spark. Move your body, light actual candles/fireplace/pit, let passion find you again.
- Lack of Air: Breathe. Make space for your mind to reset and practice deep, centering breaths regularly.
One by one, the planets will move into Sagittarius, and we’ll come up for air — clearer, lighter, and ready to move forward.
A Scorpio Season Reminder
Scorpio season isn’t about doom or drama.
It’s about depth, truth, and emotional honesty. If you can’t gett enough about Scorpio, check out this post about Mars in Scorpio
It’s an invitation to face what’s real … to feel what’s been buried and let it transform you.
The more honest you are with yourself now, the freer you’ll feel when the fire returns.
