Virgo season usually comes in like a welcome breeze — fresh notebook, and the urge to get reorganized.

But this year? It hits harder and feels more consequential.

Once again, we start with a Balsamic Moon, just like Leo Season did. That’s two consecutive seasons that open the door with endings. But we don’t stay there long. The New Moon in Virgo lands almost instantly, at 00 degrees and 23 minutes — marking a sharp pivot into something new.

If you’ve been teetering on the edge of a change, the universe isn’t whispering anymore. It’s sounding the fire alarm.

The Clean-Out: Mind, Body, Projects, and People

This is purge season, Virgo.

There’s clean-up to be done. Not just the junk drawer or the inbox (though, let’s be real, those too). I’m talking about projects that no longer make sense to your future plans, commitments you made before you knew better, and routines that aren’t supporting who you’re becoming.

Habits, goals, or actual people — if it’s taking up space and weighing you down, it’s time to let it go.

This kind of clearing is cathartic… but it can also feel messy. This isn’t just deleting files — you’re closing chapters. There can be grief in that, even if it’s the right move.

Most importantly: (I’m gonna say this loudly for the Virgos in the back- reading their emails in order to multitask) THERE’S NO PERFECT PLACE TO START.

Just. Get. Started.

The Pressure Cooker: Big Energy, and a Lot on the Line

The Sun forms a powerful Yod — also called the Finger of God — linking up in awkward angles with Pluto in Aquarius and Saturn-Neptune in Aries. Even if you’ve never heard of that aspect before, you’ll feel it.

It creates pressure (or pull). A sense that this year’s choices carry extra weight, like you’re standing at a crossroads with a spotlight on you.

You might feel like you have to get it right. Like you can’t mess this up.

But here’s the truth: You’re being asked to show up, adjust, and keep going. Continuing to move forward is the key…you can polish the process later.

Life is shifting. You’re not supposed to have it all figured out. You’re supposed to stay flexible and grow through it.

When Sudden Change Cracks You Open

The Sun also squares Uranus in Gemini this season, and that can be a curveball. Plans change. People surprise you. Nerves snap that have been stretched too far for too long.

You might hit conflict with someone — or even with yourself — if anything is making you feel boxed in. This aspect can push you to break free from rules or roles that don’t fit you any more.

If standing up for yourself means rocking the boat, so be it. This is a season for reclaiming your autonomy.

And that might not be “tidy.” But it will be real.

The Eclipses Are Watching You: South Node in Virgo

Let’s talk long game.

The South Node is in Virgo, and that sets the tone for upcoming eclipses in September 2025 and February/March 2026. These are your eclipses. Whether you have planets in Virgo or not, the area of your chart Virgo rules is up for review. That’s where the endings and letting go will be.

The South Node brings release, and sometimes we don’t get to choose what’s taken away. If you’ve been clinging to something — an identity, a dream, a way of operating that’s no longer aligned — you may find it slipping through your fingers.

The sooner you choose to release it consciously, the more gracefully you can pivot when the eclipses arrive.

Feeling Out of Sync? Good. You’re In the Right Place.

With all the outer planets in flux — Pluto, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus — Virgo is in contact with multiple layers of collective change. And that can make you feel… off. Like you’re not synced up with the rest of the world.

That’s a signal. You’re meant to be evolving in ways that don’t always make sense on the surface.

You might feel weird. Different. Ahead of your time. (You are.)

Don’t shrink yourself to stay relatable. Use this year to deepen into who you really are. The rest of the world will catch up later.

Keep a Record!

Seriously. Take notes. Journal. Talk into a voice memo. Record the insights, dreams, weird thoughts, and strange synchronicities that show up this year.

You’re learning things now that your future self will need.

You’re laying a foundation for something deeper —more aligned.

And like any Virgo worth their salt will tell you: the details matter.

Final Thought:

This Virgo Season holds a potential to revise how you’re walking your path. You’re rewriting not just routines, but your relationship to the wider world and who you are within it.

Let go of what’s expired.

Stay open to the unexpected.

And keep choosing what feels real over what looks perfect.

Your future self is going to thank you for this one.
